Travelogue Jordan 2011
Dana

Visiting the reserve of Dana was one of the highlights of our journey. Our night in the tented camp was two days after full moon and the atmosphere in the valley was fantastic though we were too tired to stay up till late in the night to watch the constantly changing play of light and shadow on the rocks.

The next morning we did a three hours hike, very slowly to enjoy every detail, each view, rock formations changing every couple of meters. Definitely one of the best hikes we did in a long time.

Till we had returned, had packed all our stuff and were brought back to our car it had become afternoon and it was too late for us to continue to the south, so we spent a second night in Dana, this time in the village itself.
