Travelogue Sri Lanka 2010 – Colombo

Our first stop on Sri Lanka is the capital Colombo. On the recommendation of an acquaintance we stay at the Gall Face Hotel, one of the oldest hotels east of the Suez Canal.

Memories of the Gall Face Hotel: Lamprais, a dish that the Dutch brought to the island, and motivational signs instead of prohibitions.

We initially stay three days in and around Colombo, but in the end there was not much that remained in memory and also left beautiful photos worth showing here.

An attempt to have bespoke shirts and blouses made in Colombo ended with a limited satisfactory result.
