Travelogue Ireland 2007
From Achill Island to Leenane

We continued to Achill Island which is connected to the Irish main land by a short bridge.

Ireland: Achill Island
A small grave yard close to Breanaskil. A good place to calm down and think about what’s important in life.

Algae II
Ireland: Achill Island
We used the rest of the day to drive along the coast to the west end of Achill Island. The scenery is wild and romantic but the wind is cold.

The next morning we left the island again and followed the coast line heading south.

Ireland: Westport
Westport – typical Irish.
Between Leenaun und Louisbourg the landscape changed totally.
