Travelogue Tanzania 2009
The best pictures – Antelopes

There are many different kinds of antelopes of in the national parks of Tanzania. However they were less spectacular than other animals for us and it was more difficult to take amazing pictures of them. Quite often we stopped for quite a while to watch these elegant animals which are skittish on the one side but very calm on the other – watching them browsing was very calming for us. Strictly speaking the Gnus are antelopes as well, but they have a separate picture page.

Tanzania - a Dikdik
Dikdiks are probably the smallest antelopes. We only saw them individually and in the thicket.
